His bedroom has one dresser that requires a key, and the back room just had an item that was for a minor thieves guild fetch quest. I have no idea where to get the key for that dresser either. I just did that quest a couple hours ago. I never found the key anywhere. You have to enter the tunnel anyway to poison the pest nest, so you might as well go in from your current building.
