The episode begins as Whyatt gets a call from Pig and Princess Pea , who tell him to meet everyone at the park. And so Whyatt runs over, passing Red's Grandma along the way and he soon reaches them. He greets them, then asks about the picnic as Princess Pea offers him some strawberries, along with Carrots and celery sticks.
Whyatt tries them as Red joins and he offers her the snack. Red tells them she doesn't need it since she has some candy and they begin to play catch! Pig tosses it to Red but she has trouble reaching the frisbee. She soon grows tired and stops by the picnic and explains how she feels really tired and worn out.
Whyatt asks if she wants some water, but she tells has Soda and drinks it instead, ignoring what Princess Pea just told her.. Once again worn out, Red sits down and tells them she doesn't have enough energy to play anymore as Whyatt considers this a problem and calls the others to meet him at the Book Club. Inside, Whyatt loads the super computer and Red explains her problem of being too worn out today to play in the park.
She doesn't know why though and asks how she can get back her energy. Whyatt loads the super letters to see that they need a total of 7 for today! They then transform and fly into the Going into a very grassy land filled with many pathways and pine trees. As they land, Princess Presto explains their location as Super Why begins to read.
A Witch lived in the woods in a house made of candy and cookies. Wyatt and his pals, the Super Readers, solve problems by consulting classic stories such as Little Miss Muffet, Hansel and Gretel and more. Whyatt and the Super Why crew present the story of a sleeping princess who can feel a pea through twenty mattresses. Whyatt and the Super Why crew present the story of adventurous boy who climbs his way to an ogre's lair high in the sky. Whyatt and the Super Why crew present the story of three very different pigs who are stalked by a big bad wolf.
Whyatt and the Super Why crew present the story of a young girl who crosses paths with a scary wolf while on the way to grandmother's house. Princess Pea is blowing bubbles with Whyatt, and misses her tea party. They then read Alice in Wonderland to find out how she could be on time. Whyatt gets in big trouble with his older brother Jack for messing up Jack's room, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears will help him solve his problem.
Princess Pea's kitten gets stuck in a tree, and the Super Readers use the story of Rapunzel to figure out how to bring the kitty back to safety. Pig is told by his brothers that he's too young and small to have an adventure of his own, and he learns to be OK with his size from Tom Thumb. Whyatt and his friends are playing kickball in the park when Wolfy erases the score. The super readers fly into a comic book to track down the Eraser. When his mom tells him that the Tooth Fairy will come and take his first lost tooth, Whyatt wants to know what happens if he wants to keep it.
Whyatt wants to bake Baby Joy a special birthday cake, but he doesn't know how. Super Why and his friends get the info they need from a rhyming chef. Whyatt wants to play baseball better, but he keeps missing the ball. The superhero readers join some fairytale heroes gearing up for a soccer match. Poor Pig is stuck at the top of his new slide! The Super Readers fly into the Humpty Dumpty book to find out how he'll get down from that wall.
Red doesn't feel like a princess, so how will she fit in at Sleeping Beauty's party? The Super Readers magically leap into the book of Cinderella.
Whyatt told a lie and feels really guilty! The Super Readers visit Pinocchio, a boy who also fibbed and whose nose is growing right before his eyes. Princess Pea's father is too busy to help her tie her skates. The Super Readers visit another princess and her funny little helper, Rumpelstiltskin. The Super Readers catch up with Santa and his reindeer as they gallop from rooftop to rooftop. It's Halloween in Storybrook Village, and Pig is so frightened that he won't go trick-or-treating with his friends!
